5 days to assignment due date excluding today and only 1/4 of my assignment is done. I've got other distractions like my nds, baby and vg. My life normally rotate around these 3 things/people. Enjoying life while I still can(if you read my previous posts you should know what I mean).

Well anyway, I thought baby was gonna update the blog which he said a few days ago. He didn't and so I'll make up for him and myself with this post. =)

I got my nds at like a couple of weeks ago if i remember correctly. I love it alot still even though its a few weeks old. I can't share love between two consoles so.. my psp isn't in a really pretty state now. Stored away in my cupboard until good/new games come out for it. Moreover, who can bear to play a normal up down left right button games when u can touch the screen and it actually reacts to the touch (I love love touch screens). Neat huh?

One short update about today :
Baby and me went to comex today. There are lots of people and I mean it literally. We gotta like queue up to get into the entrance of the convention hall.

Overall, the exhibition was pretty much the same as the one four months ago or something. There are not much changes in the price or the exhibitors. So if you have been there four months ago or something, you'll probably finish walking round the exhibition in less than 2 hours. Good time to get electronic stuff though.. might even be cheaper than sim lim square.

Anyway, after finish going through the entire exhibition, we sat at a place and play nds all the way till we are going home. *beauty of nds...*

Just the first day of lesson the other day and I have already gotten a assignment. Currently I am still working on my assignment and got around one week + till the deadline.

I went for the tutorial/lesson today and asked the lecturer a bunch of questions (gather requirements of sorts/to clarify unclear stuff). He was like trying to get away from me looking at my list of questions. I swear it was hilarious as if I was a monster student. Haha.

-Start Rant- (Skip this part and not read unless you are damn bored)
Anyway my dear gotta sleep early like at 10pm. Wtfman.. its like super early. Pfft.. he got no choice though. Commands of a higher up - his dad. Nowadays, controlling parents are hard to find already and its kindda weird anyway. I mean dear is like so old already.. >.<

Man.. I guess dear is just pure unlucky. I guess I gotta adjust my sleeping time to his or else when I am sleeping he will be awake and vice versa. That will totally suck when I mean to spend my time with him before he enter NS. If I do adjust my sleeping time then it would like the first time in like 5+ years or more.. well the start of my gaming life. Sadnesss~

Thats all for my update. I am already feeling a little weird yesterday when baby slept like at 11 P..M yesterday. Nowadays, there are not many late sleepers like me and its like damnnnn boring. No one to talk to when I am awake. Totally SUCK.

The regime for getting into shape and schedule starts today. Sleeping at at 10pm ( That's when I'm most awake ) and waking up at 5am ( That's an hour after I sleep usually ). Of course I'm probably gonna add 2 hours to the sleeping and waking timings, but still..It means my nightlife just went kaput.

Seriously though, what chance does Singapore have if we actually do get invaded? Sure if we get invaded by like, Jamaica or Mexico we'd probably have a fighting chance, but those countries might as well be throwing samba music CDs and tacos at our decade-old tanks. I'm talking a super-power, or something close. Maybe..North Korea. They want our strategic location, so they launch like, a million troops and 100 plus fighter jets. How the heck are we supposed to defend against that? Yes we have the much-hyped civilian army, but you know if you take a look at how North Korea trains their military, and compare it to the office-working soldier we got here, you'd probably get this picture in your head.


P.S. I'm not racist, but really do you actually think our civilian army is capable of pulling a David vs Goliath result in real life?

Been thinking lately.. around 2 more months or so, baby will be entering NS. Wonder what I'll be like without him by my side through my ups and downs. I don't know who I am gonna complain to when I meet up with problems or who I am gonna talk to when I am sad or even who to share my happiness with.

Of course I am still glad he will be serving NS. I hear from others that people will change after they come out of NS.. moreover, dear will be serving the country. I'm happy for him but still kindda sad thinking that the day when he finally enter NS is gonna come soon as that also mean that I gonna start slogging myself out and work for life soon!

Nevermind about that.. Guess I must think about something that will make myself happy.

Something like I'll be getting my NDS Lite soon! I might be getting my new sexy NDS Lite next Tuesday or Wednesday. Something to be happy about. Finally I can trade pokemon with my dear and cook food (Cooking Mama) without getting really oily!

For now, I'm gonna get back to VG and dwell in my happiness/unhappiness.

I had the luck of catching it Live at baby's house today. And wow, what a match that was. I was practically glued straight to her TV set for 2 hours odd, and I didn't regret a moment of it.


I started watching when Li Jiawei was going against her South Korean counterpart, Kim Kyung-ah. Was actually thinking Jiawei would win, but she was too impatient with her smacks, causing her to cancel off her lead and ultimately submit to the South Korean. Damn.



Next up was the doubles match, starring Jiawei and her partner, whom sadly I forgot her last name, only knew her by her surname Wang. Now this was a match where Jiawei redeemed herself. Match started off fast with Jiawei jumping at almost every opportunity to smack, but Wang kept the tempo slow and steady, opening up chances for Jiawei to do a good clean smash. I must say, Wang was great in this round. The Singapore team did a clean sweep of the doubles, great stuff.

Next up was Dang Y.S vs Wang. Okay, this match caught me by surprise. Seeing that the rest of the previous games were controlled and slow, the tempo of Dang was insane. Have you ever seen Sonic the Hedgehog? Now imagine Sonic's legs were her arms. Scary isn't it? What a great game of speed and reflexes, Wang was utterly destroyed, 3-0.

Final match was between Feng Tianwei of Singapore and Park Mi-young of South Korea. Lol, this game was the best. They were like playing badminton on the tennis table. South Korea's defense was godlike, she was saving smashes from like 2 metres from the table, pushing back almost 90% of Feng's smacks. Crazy stuff, but after one heck of an epic battle, Singapore's going to get her first damn medal since like, god knows when?



GO SINGAPORE!!!

Been lazy to blog lately because I was trying to make full use of the holidays before school reopens by playing games and accompanying my dear. Exams are over and school starts next week. Damn.. thats not even 2 weeks of rest!

I gotta go prepare and head out in abit for my exam. I can't believe I am not anxious nor nervous at all as you can see because I am still blogging today right before my exams.

The exam is so gonna be a bitch because it lasts for 2 1/2 hrs + 10 mins reading time which means I will have that amount of time churning out theory stuff and drawing diagrams.

Man.. I wish this time I am fully ready which I think I am or else I am gonna face the wraith of baby. I think I need to grab baby's NDS to play for abit to relieve the stress later on when I meet him.

Gotta head to prepare now.. will post again soon and hopefully something more interesting.

Thats the amount of stuff I gotta study. I am gonna sneakily blog for abit but just a short post because baby went to help with cooking and will be back soon.

I need a break. One more day of suffering tomorrow before the exam is here. I still need to go through those notes again tomorrow to ensure that I am fully ready for the exam. Sometimes I get the feeling of wanting to "heck care" and play games or blog or "insert any form of relaxation here".

I'll be blogging soon if I have the time or otherwise Krezash will do it.

I got to get back to studying now before baby realise that all the while I have been blogging. Do you feel my pain? =(

Baby's studying like mad for her exams now, and the amount of information is just..overwhelming. She said she has 9 lectures, and each lecture has 100+ slides. That translates to about 900 slides to study, and she's got till Tuesday to finish. So..about 48 hours for 900 slides..so 18 minutes per slide, considering that she doesn't sleep. Lol

But she needs to do well this time, because she must be the best in the class. She better be, because she knows more than those lao tikos in the class anyway.

As she's doing her studying, I'm playing Pokemon Diamond on my NDS, hahaha. Shhh, she doesn't know it yet, gotta stop her from getting distracted. I love the NDS, really. It's like, the best innovation since...I don't know, the Wii?

The fighter planes show in NDP was splendid specially the part when they formed a heart shape. I wish I was there really even though I only sat infront of the TV watching NDP for a little while only. I bet its nothing compared to watching NDP at the place itself.

Though its suppose to be happy but here I am sitting here blogging. My last day of enjoyment because I've got to study tomorrow. That sucks as I've gt a major exam thats 3 days away and its about everything I hate. The exam is about drawing diagrams and more diagrams and not to forget theory as well. Oh man, I wish it was labour day everyday as it is for my BF and some of my friends.

This post is suppose to be a happy one so.. heres some photos that Krezash did not update for his birthday. I know its long overdue but better late than never right?

Yep, my last birthday before I enter NS, and what a birthday that was. I gotta really hand it to baby for planning my birthday. It was surprise after surprise after surprise, I think I would've died of a heart attack if I had a weak heart.

First up, baby was LATE for meeting up. but I forgave her because of what happened afterwards. So we got on the train, heading to Vivo, and baby asked me to open my present. I took the greatest care with opening the present, and guess what? I saw the NDS logo on the box inside the present, and my heart skipped a beat. WTF? I was thinking, no way.That's like, nuts. Turned out it WAS a Nintendo DS, complete with 70+ games inside, with a charger and stuff. Holy shit.


Turns out baby was planning this like, weeks ago. When she asked me what color was nice at SLS, I thought it was just like, a question for casuality. Turns out it was for this. Red and black DS ftw!

Okay so surprise no.1 achieved.

We headed over to Vivo, with me like totally high with the NDS, and walked around till about 5.30pm. Then we headed over to the Singapore Flyer, where me and baby were becoming hungry for food.That, coupled with the fact that there were no lack of good restaurants there, was bloody murder for my senses. Alas, I wanted to keep to baby's plan, because I know she's got something up her sleeve.

Next we headed over to Ritz Carlton, as baby wanted to see the place where I worked at, the Greenhouse. So we took a bus over, and went inside. Baby asked if I could ask the receptionist how much the food was there. I was like, no way, it's embarassing to just ask and walk off in a hotel restaurant! But oh well, since baby wanted it...

I walked over to the receptionist with the feeling of impending doom..

..and baby asked me to just tell them we have a reservation for 2.

Great.

Hah, baby actually booked seats for us at the Greenhouse! Holy shit. You know there's this thing about working at a restaurant and actually dining at it. It's awesome. The food there was great, and we just ate and ate and ate. We went like, 4 times around the food area just to make sure we got the most bang for our buck. Pretty much ate till I almost passed out.

Okay so surprise No.2 achieved.

So lastly, we headed over to the Esplanade, where baby said a final surprise was waiting. Okay, I wasn't sure if I could handle anymore but here goes...

I was thinking on the way, what could it be...and

once we reached the foodstall area, guess what I saw?
